Work began in February 2019 at LUSEP on a 10,000 sqm, four-storey office building project.
This Leicestershire County Council development-led project completed in November 2020 and will house one third of The Access Group’s global workforce in its new flagship office at LUSEP.
This is the largest single-occupier office new-build deal in the East Midlands this century, creating 500 skilled jobs and generating £1.6M per year for the Council’s frontline services, boosting the regional economy and beyond.
Wates Construction was the main contractor responsible for the project, having been contracted by Leicestershire County Council through the Scape Major Works UK Framework. Stephen George & Partners were the lead architect and Pick Everard the project manager.
